Increased integration of photovoltaics (PVs) systems and charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) has led to a substantial increase in the level voltage unbalance beyond acceptable limit. Ordinary regulation devices such as on-load tap changers (OLTCs) distribution static synchronous compensator (DSTATCOM) are sometimes incapable adequately addressing this issue without proper coordination with PVs EVs. This paper presents novel real-time optimal scheme determine position OLTC, amount reactive power be exchanged by DSTATCOM PV inverter, phase connection The proposed aims maintain magnitude within statutory limit while minimising losses an active unbalanced system.
